Solve sin(x) = k, cos(x) = k, or tan(x) = k for every angle in [0°, 360°). The solver shows the reference angle and which quadrants contribute, returning the complete solution set.
All solutions of sin/cos/tan(x) = k in [0°, 360°).
x = arcsin/arccos/arctan(k) + quadrant reflections
|k| ≤ 1 is required for sine and cosine; tangent accepts any k.
| Symbol | Meaning |
|---|---|
| k | Target value of the trig function |
sin(x) = 0.5 → x = 30°, 150°. cos(x) = 0 → x = 90°, 270°. tan(x) = 1 → x = 45°, 225°.
