How to Use
- Enter start date & time (e.g., 2026-05-20 09:00).
- Enter end date & time (e.g., 2026-05-20 17:30).
- Click Calculate — get hours, minutes, and decimal hours.
- For overnight (22:00 → 06:00), include the next day’s date — duration = 8h.
Example 1 — Day shift
09:00 → 17:00 = 8h 0m (8.0h)
Minus 30m lunch → 7.5h payable
Example 2 — Night shift
22:00 (Day 1) → 06:00 (Day 2) = 8h 0m
Cross-midnight handled via date, not just time

Tip: Always include dates for overnight calculations. A “22:00 → 06:00” without dates looks like negative 16h; with dates it’s correct 8h.
